Hi All,
I'm not sure whether anyone can help me but here goes.......
Is there any explorations / formulas in Metastock that would allow me to identify stocks which have a defined support / resistance level , ie. Trading range.
For example, stocks which over the last 30,40,50 days, etc have traded within a range , where the close price is within:
i) the average max close price over the last 30,40,50 days etc
ii) the average min close price over the same number of days
I know there are explorations that allow you to identify stocks which over a certain number of periods have been trading within a range that does not exceed more than (say 10%) of the current closing price of the security, so is there anyway of doing what I am after??
Basically, I am looking for a way of identifying stocks where the max close price has been at a level similar to previous max close prices over a set number of days and the min close price has been at a level similar to previous min close prices.
Is there any way of doing this in Metastock? Does such a formula exist??
Any help much appreciated
