Hello chris33, there are a lot of things you can read here that can help you with trading. There's also a contest here using a demo with real time data if you'd like to practice what you read.

Robotica16, Essentials Of 'First Steps' thread might help you. I'm new myself but it help me choose which one to read 1st.
