Hey,

Im in Australia, thinking about opening a live account with GFT for CFD and fx trading. Just wondering if anyone has had any thoughts on whether they're a reasonable broker, in particular how good is their 'live server' over the demo account, and any experiences getting a hold of them -after- you become a customer.

Asking you guys just in case.

Thanks, any advice appreciated.

A post by TomTom from yesterday, I'm finding it hard to believe the comments you come out with, does two people have access to your trade2win profile or something, one of you uses spreadbet companies and the other one has been direct access for over 8 years.

Also, what happened to you taking them to the cleaners?

WTF:LOL:

This is right i hate spread betting companies.
Not through losses, simply that i see through there game.
Been a direct access trader for 8 years now.

As for the people who earn money from these firms, consider how much one would make if the spread betting firm was ditched and moved to Direct Accsess ?

I cant deniey I occasionally use these firms ( use limmit orders to enter and exit ) to my advantage, but even now platform problems remind me of why i changed.

Like to enter and exit with small amoount of points 5-15 at a large £ per point on news knowing that the firm rearely has the chance to of set these postions in the market before the postion is closed.

Yes they do not like these actions and have requested me not to do this. I wonder why ?

So no resentment here, made some and lossed some.

STILL HATE THEM for there over charging traders and how some make there prices.

If the high of the day was 9200 in the market it could be that the SB only got to 9190-4 and on the flip the low is normally surpassed the markets price.

Answer this then how come most SB companies start there quotes all different and change them round at cirtain times of the day ? And yes I bet you all like this Ehhh ?

GFT doesnt do spread betting to my knowledge, but they're definitely not a DMA CFD broker either.

Thanks. Anyone else have any experiences with them?

Lol, if they're not CFD or DMA and dont do spreadbetting......what do they do, sell lollypops.

Its on their front page mate, take another look.

CFD and Spreadbetting

just opened an account with them here in london, after trading on their demo account which was great, commisions are only 0.1% on cfds and none on commodities, with a very good software.
