FXCM spreadbetting - Mobile platform

I'm thinking of moving from IGIndex to FXCM, but for me the big downside is no mobile platform to manage my trades whilst I am out and about.

Does anyone know if the Metatrader Mobile platform can be used with the FXCM spreadbetting service?

Hi Simon,

FXCM currently doesn't support MetaTrader mobile, but we will be releasing a mobile platform for the iPhone within a couple of months. What type of mobile phone do you use?

I have an HTC Touch Pro 2, running Windows Mobile.
I move my stops and limits frequently whilst I am out, so mobile access for me, is a must have.

I already have a "paid for" Metatrader Mobile running on my phone, but I understand it does not work with your spreadbetting platform.

I certainly understand the need for a mobile platform. The iPhone mobile platform is being launched first, and the Windows version is still a ways off. The best option until we launch our own mobile Windows platform would be to use www.itrademobile.com . iTradeMobile created a mobile trading platform for FXCM accounts using our API. Their FAQ says it should work on Windows mobile, and they also have a free trial.

I will make sure to notify you once we have the Windows mobile platform ready, but again this is still a ways off. And you are correct, the MetaTrader Mobile does not work with our spread betting accounts.
