Hi,
I have recently began an Operational Research MSc to develop my programming skills amongst other things such dodging the uncertainty in the markets, however, when I finish I am extremely keen in entering FX trading. I have an undergraduate degree in Financial Maths which I have a First Class in and am aiming for a Distinction in the MSc unfortunately I should be honest and admit that my A--levels are a let down! i will also be doing some FX trading on the side during the year.
Anyway, preferably I would like to do FX trading through a prop trading firm NOT an Arcade. The problem I am facing is that many of prop trading firms I have researched and met, trade derivatives, equities etc. Does anyone know of any prop trading firms that specialise in Fx?
On another subject, It would be great to hear from anyone that might have studied Operational Research ,so I can see which modules would be essential for me to take on in preparation.
Also, any other views on Operational Researchers in Trading would be great as well as I am sure a lot will say that Operational Research has no place in Trading.
Cheers!
