Forex Broker Decision: MT4 w/ FXcast for trading + VT Trader for charting?

Hello,
I'm a newbie and I need advice, opinions, and strategy on choosing a broker. I'm going to start with demo accounts but want to train myself on the platform I'll be using live.

I've been recommended VT Trader by a friend who swears by it. But after reading many negative reviews of CMSFX, I'm not going to trade with them. I read in another thread that due to the power of VT Trader's charting, it may be a good idea to use for analysis and trade with another platform.

What is your advice and thoughts about this strategy:
- Use FXcast as broker (based on many good reviews + this article)
- Use MT4 as trading platform with FXcast
- Run VT Trader's demo platform for charting. (please tell me if this would be inaccurate vs. a real-money account)

Also considering this:
- Use MB Trading as main broker
- Use FXcast for hedge trades
- Looking for the best/most user friendly charting - suggestions?

The platform I use and teach from is Dealbook 360 from GFTforex. It installs easily, there is a demo account, it is very easy to use and customise and the support is great. Here is the link: Forex | Forex Trading | Currency Trading | GFT
