I haven't seen any analysis on what the impact of this will be during the next four weeks however elections generally introduce an element of risk - something that markets don'y like.
In contrast to the US experience last Christmas we don' t appear to have very two evenly matched candidates so I would be surprised to see a large effect though it's early days yet and you never can tell what the outcome will be.
