Has anybody subscribed to DOWTEQ Home Page ?
They claim 100 Dow points /week, but I am interested to find out if this is actually achieved. Feedback from anyone that has tried this service would be appreciated.

I have not heard of them but gave it a few minutes and it looks quite interesting. Not really fond of any advisory service because it is better to make your own calls. In the long run you will become a far better and definately more confident trader. Plus I believe you will make more money in the long run by yourself.
Keep it simple. Experiment with basic charting methods like slow stochastic or macd. Really these work as well as any advisor!!!

I tried them for about a week, they made some very good calls, the downside to the service is that you have to be near your computer at all times, the signals come in and you have to change your position from long to short etc right away or you lose points.

Tuesday June 24th was my last trading day with them they produced 130 points on 12 trades. This was a free trial and it ended on the 24th. There fees are posted on their website basically they earn$1.00 a point they produce, they did 130 in one day so you can imagine what they can do in a month, I'm going to pay for the service for a month after the month is up I will post my profit and cost let let you know how they did.

I am curious to see how you did as I am thinking of trying them myself any input would be appreciated.

I have had some email with them. They will not give any specific history of signals that I could review etc. They say max intraday drawdown exceed $1,500 on one YM contract. They recommend 5k per Ym contract traded.

I still have no idea what the slippage is from their entries to the time you get the signal and enter. They claim sometimes better and sometimes worse and evens out. They will not allow you to speak to anyone trading it however.

They are always in the market long or short and no stops they say.
 
They posted for June 178 points, so something did not work out properly. I am waiting delexmike at the end of July.

drawdowns exceeding 1'500 usd on 1 ym contract :?: or you sure?... that's 300 ym points.
I've also tried the free trial and it did perform some 100 points in a day. The only real problem i have with their service is not having a stop loss nor a target. They are always in the market,.

If you can sit for 6 hours going long and short and not be emotional on a drawdown of 150 ym points per contract. and just doing that with no hesitation, than this could be your last stop at a service.

I agree with 5'000 usd per 1 ym contract and increase to 2 when you have 10'000-

Bottom line... if you have never made money trading consistently and you have 5'000 usd of risk money... it's worth a try. I will personally start when back from summer.

Ive been using this service for two weeks now and i want to issue a serious wealth warning to this service.
two weeks is not long enough to evaluate a system but what worries me is that results on their website say that they are up 192 points so far this month.
Ive been trading YM contracts following their signals and getting very good entrys and in the two weeks i had two winning days and some big losses:mad:
be very careful people, if you must go for it then please trade very small until you prove to yourself that their published returns just dont add up.(n)
You will lose your shorts trading their signals.

Thanks for the thumbs up. How long will you be giving them? I know they've had a tough day yesterday, but from the info i've gathered from their dialy records, they are about on tract with the 100 points a week. I only see 1 bad day, and that was yesterday for some 90 points loss.

Im gonna give it the month,some of the signals that come in,ya just know that their not gonna work.
You get a signal, it goes against you,then it goes in your favour,then you get a signal to reverse your position but the market keeps going in the orignal direction, you lose all the profit, it goes into a loss, sometimes a big loss.RINSE AND REPEAT:cry:
Dont go by the published results,they just dont stack up for some reason:whistle:whistling

Maybe its a bad period.Only time will tell.
 
A very good day today, too early to tell but i hope to eat my words!


Ive still yet to match published results though.

If you were trading their signals for the past two weeks are you up the + 192 the published on their website?

They issued a buy at 14:33 today and still in it now, currently down 200 points:eek:

Captain i think we'll need a bigger boat:confused:
 
Dowteq is no more :mad:

Got an e mail saying due to lack of membership that they are shutting up shop(n)

So it would seem that myself and other subscribers were left in a terrible losing trade all day while these guys wound up the operation behind the scenes,now i know why there was only one signal:mad::mad:

the signals were so bad that they would end up oweing me money, no wonder they imploded:rolleyes:
 
Has Dowteq shut down?

Shouldn't the points made on weekly basis as claimed be enough to keep them in operation even with fewer memberships?

Does anyone know anything further? As I was about to join them before shutting down.

Any advice would be appreciated.
 
It appears that their site has also been dismantled.

I think its a case of ''if it looks too good to be true then it probably is !!''

I dont think that the published results of the system were being achieved.not on my end anyway:(
