Does anyone use a trading journal spreadsheet?

Just wondering if anyone is using some type of spreadsheet to keep track of their trading? I found a thread here but, it seemed dated so, I wanted to ask again...

I came accross a company called "tradingspreadsheets" online and they seem to have a good product but, not sure if it's necessary - perhaps just a simple homemade excel sheet would be easier to use?? Or does anyone recommend another way to track trades and personal notes about how the trade went?

Of course my trading platform (NinjaT) has some functions so, perhaps this isn't even needed.

Would love to hear some opinions....

I actually bought their spreadsheets yesterday, and am very happy so far.

I use a trading spreadsheet I made in xcel - works well.
I record every trade very carefully.
I can forward it to you, if you connect with me and give me your email address.
It has built-in calculations to record your ROI for each trade, and accumulative or course.

A trade journal is of vital importance, I think.
How else do you know if you're improving, or where you need improvement?

The trading system I use provides a very advanced stat tracker online as well.
