Which online brokers offer cash DMA, and which of these is best? I want to place orders within the yellow strip for UK equities.
I looked at IG Index's CFD DMA offering, but was put off by the funding charge applying to the entire notional position (rather than the position minus the posted deposit) - I'm interested in fairly illiquid stocks, and the 75% margin requirement makes the (unnecessary) funding on the remaining 25% extortionate (3.1% stated, but 12.4% equivalently!).
Interactive Broker's website is incomprehensible, though I've heard elsewhere they do cash DMA.
Don't understand why so many brokers offer CFD DMA and apparently so few the simpler cash variety.
