Dividends

I don't know if the day trading/short-term trading fraternity know what a dividend is (let alone having collected one!), but, does anyone know where I can get an up-to-date list of comapnies and dividend/ex-dividend dates? Sorry to use the "d" word on a TA site.

I'm not 100% sure but some sites have a diary of events such as results announcements and XD would follow these. I would try AFX news or Hemscott.
Another thought is FT.com

Something in the back of my mind tells me that this question has been asked before in Investors Chronicle. Try the archives??

Go to www.uk-invest.com left hand side click on What's news then uk-wire.
