It certainly can be, but I think only a small minority of people who plan to make their living that way actually manage it. The same is true of any form of trading, though.

As pointed out in the past, the question is not: is daytrading viable source of income?, but if it is
viable source of income for you..

Can you do it? other people definitely can. Do you have the passion, the commitment & resilence, and right personality to do it? You dont need the skill to do it, as that can be learnt
but only if you have the above.
