Unfortunately we have little knoledge of the trading rules of your market, so I would really appreciate if you could give us some advices.
1) when does the market open and close?
2) do you have opening and closing auctions?
3) do you have different ECNs like in NASDAQ?
4) do you know any good broker which allow us to have short selling and intraday leverage facilities for the major stocks of FTSE?
