Charting Software

I like to do some backtesting in order to develop a trading system for myself. Sierra chart and QChart looks interesting but their subscription based pricing not attractive for me as I only want to use it for backtesting at this stage (for about 2 months or so).

Can anybody suggest any other alternatives with time play option?

What about Open Source alternatives? Does anyone using them? Are there any usable ones?

There is an free and open source alternatives. http://jstock.sourceforge.net

Come with some simple TA charting and TA scanning.

Not sure whether this will meet your requirement.
