I use SnagIt to take chart shots ,but I am going to go one step further by creating not just a chart photo library ,but by creating one which is capable of showing videos of realtime chart action. SnagIt have software called Camtasia and I want to ask two questions..
1. Anyone already using the above have any comments on it to make ?
2. Anyone using any other video software capable of catching continuous screen action that they would recommend ?

Thanks

You can use the free microsoft product

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/howto/articles/screencap.aspx

which allows you to capture screen images in realtime including typing and mouse movements and then replay it in windows media player

Camtasia.

Chump.

I use Camtasia for capturing video footage of screen activity, I also use Snagit. Camtasia is very good as you can capture footage in varios formats and then produce them into video of varying dimensions and viewing capabilities. So yes, I believe Camtasia would suit your requirement and I believe they offer a 30 day trial.

Would be very interested to see your results, can also add voice to Camtasia footage either during the capture or can be added as voiceover at a later date.

Good Luck.
