Right guys would appreciate some advice. My profile is as follows:
- 2.1 from a target university in a non-finance degree subject
- graduated in 2010, working for a year at a large accountancy firm doing the aca
Am interested in a career in FO (sales or research) or asset/investment management/ investment consulting. Identified possible options to go forward:
- complete aca and then do an mba
- do a MSc in Finance at LSE/CASS
- possibly do another undergrad in Economics/Finance at a target university
I hated my degree and only did it because I wanted to finish it and start working, but am not really happy with my position at the moment. Wanted to know how hard it would be for someone with my profile to get into a masters programme given i got a 2.1 in a non-finance related degree, and the admissions place preference on a first/finance-related degree.
Any comments or suggestions would be really helpful!
