Can you trade a futures contract of an expired month?

That's weird...my broker shows futures contract of previous months - like January 2010 and you can even trade them on the demo??? Though I'm still afraid to try them on the live account and see what happens...

It doesn't sound like a very good platform......
You can't trade something that's expired, over with.
That would be like betting on the outcome of the Battle of Trafalgar
