Hey Guys,

I am a business economics graduate ( 2.1) who recently graduated from a top modern university. my A-level results were average, due to extenuating circumstances( traumas etc, i'm ok now) and had to forgo my dreams off going to a top 10 university and as a result i feel i cannot apply for internships as i would automatically get rejected.

Anyway, i am just wondering what professional qualifications i need to get for trading in order for me to stand out when i apply for an internship b4/after my masters.

I have been trading forex and others on www.fxpro.com and i am pretty good at it. on good days i make £1000 in an hour and a half and less in not so good days. however, i feel i am VERY lucky because all i do is watch and read the news and make my judgment from there.

If anyone could please give me some form of advise, i would be really grateful:
1) what qualifications would help me stand out
2) what websites etc can help me improve my knowledge on trading
3) what firms etc would give me relevant work experience
and 4) still deciding, someone has suggested i do a fast track a level course to increase my ucas points.. do you feel this is necessary?

Thank you.
PS- Apologies for my grammar in a bit of a rush.

Is the trading on FXpro simulated or real because if you are pulling in £1000 an hour on real money then screw the internships and just trade for yourself instead.

Its real you should try it out yourself, they have advisors and that help you as well.
i know i was thinking the same thing, but once i cover i do not try and trade again for like the next couple of days or so. its very risky because i am watching probably 6 exchange rates at the same time. some times i feel its a bit of luck.

however, i really want to work in an IB for security reasons etc. I know i am highly talented in this but i do not know how to prove worth with my poor qualifications. plus i like credentials lol.
so if you could please tell me what qualifications i need that would be great.

plus i do make losses as well, but i have found a way to counter it and change it to a profit if that makes sense.

Arn't IB's in the process of unwinding their prop desks? ..... just wondering ....
In which case you may prefer to look at hedgies

its a vendor methinks

hey, i am not a vendor ( googled the definition lol ), i just want to know what qualifications i need to progress in this field taking into account my circumstances.

i only talked about fxpro because that's what i used for about a year for practice ( demo) and for the real thing and to also show i have some sort of experience.

You make 1k an hour? ****ing hell why even work if you're drawing that sort of p. By my reckoning you could work only a few days a month and have enough money to not have to work and can spend the rest of the time playing Xbox, smoking weed or whateve else you want to do.

I thought he was a vendor as well btw.

A business is an organization engaged in the trade of goods, services, or both to consumers.Businesses are predominant in capitalist economies, in which most of them are privately owned and administered to earn profit to increase the wealth of their owners. Businesses may also be not-for-profit or state-owned. A business owned by multiple individuals may be referred to as a company, although that term also has a more precise meaning.
