Hello. I am looking to start trading Forex, but have been struggling to find a good broker. There tends to be very different reviews depending on who you ask about the same broker. I was hoping to get some recommendations as to what broker I should try out a demo with. My preferences for a broker is one with relatively small margins, no fees to deposit or withdraw money, no slippage, some variety in currencies to trade, and a fairly easy to use platform. Obviously this would be my ideal and I recognize that it would be extremely difficult to fit this perfectly, but wanted to get some advice as to which ones I should try. I would appreciate any kind of advice you may have. Thanks!

Try out FTT ( Fair Trading Technology) They are working with Dukascopy, one of the biggest broker there is, and there you can use the Meta Trader 4 platform. I trade with these guys and i strongly recommend it :)

I will definitely try it out. Thanks for your advice! From your experience, how are their margins, fees, and slippage?

Are there any brokers that do not charge for moving money in and out of the account? I've been looking around but haven't found any yet.

FTT does not charge any fees when you move your money. Their margins, fees and slippage are about average. I do not find them expensive or anything.

Really? Does anyone else have experience with FTT? GC1, may I ask what you might recommend?

Im currently with LucrorFx. New zealand regulated that accepts US clients. 100:1 leverage. Low spreads and no commission..

You definitely are correct, no broker can perfectly fit into your demands, anyone that tells you that, is scam. However, we look for those that can measure to a reasonable degree as regards these things. I can recommend to you Profiforex, this is because i use them and they have been trying so far. No fees for deposit, cool platform with no requotes or slippages. But the most easiest thing there is withdrawals, easy as you like. You can check them out yourself, just keep up with your research and i believe you would end up with a good one at the end.

Seriously? An unregulated "broker" based in the Seychelles?

Is this a joke?

Surely we all face the dilemma when being initiated into the market, you just have to be strong and diligent. But the ugly truth is forex is not easy, yes not even with your licensed broker! Are you surprised? Sorry, but they still manipulate trades, some of them are evn notorious for hacking your platform; especially those operating boston technologies, they route the connection making servers very slow that wrong orders get filled..some are inhuman when it comes to calculated negative slippages. Just be careful and do more diligent researches.

I agree with you, there are a lot of dodgy unscrupulous brokers out there, but you can drastically reduce the chances of signing up with one if you just make sure that they are regulated in a western country (preferably Australia or UK). If they got caught by the regulatory bodies in those countries for screwing over the trader like that, the fines would be massive and very public...it would be the end of the broker...so far less likely to happen.

How many more threads are you going to use to pump this brokerage?
