Been thinking about starting a journal for a while now so here goes! I won't be posting live calls although I'll post charts and things while I'm in trades and please nobody take any of the trades I do, I'm a noob mug that is slow-bleeding his account over various spread betting companies! I use GKFX as they allow 10p increment bets, I have sufficient funds to open a real futures account but not sufficient stones to trade it! Hopefully some of you experts can give me some advice on where I'm going wrong:clap:
Anyway, I only trade the FTSE and DOW. I don't even look at forex and the only dabblings I've had in commodities have mostly been disastrous so I am going to stick with what I know best and stay with these. I've basically done what everybody else has done which is modify what other people do to suit myself. So be prepared to be bored by the usual pin bar trash
I have a few rules that I try to stick to but basically I just take a decent set up, trail it and hope for the best! I end up with a lot of breakevens and a lot of points given away but essentially my wins are higher than my losses, which is the idea right? I've been considering taking profits at 1:1 instead of trailing but still looking into this. I don't take many trades so this topic will be extremely boring and probably fade away in a couple weeks but any criticism and advice would be appreciated
