Big Dip in FTSE 100 today, Buy bet ?

Hi all, Today we saw the FTSE slowing dipping where currently it stands at 6630, I personally feel teh FTSE 100 will increase in value tomorrow, perhaps from 9:30 onwards, is anyone going to be spread with a buy bet?

Dow lost nearly 160 points tonight. FTSE will open down and could turn into a 2-3 days slump. I would say you are best waiting for confirmation of a return to the bull run.

Yes, I see your point, you are correct perhaps the waiting game for a little while is the best.... Tomorrow would be Interesting to see how the market reacts - My personal predictions is it will start low inevitably it will increase, but knowing that point is the problem without losing out on too much margin......

I was thinking how about starting a "traders" conference in the mornings on MSN just to get peoples reactions what the best action might be of the day... That would be interesting would anyone be up for that ?

Why not:

Wait until tomorrow and trade what you see, not what you think ?

Yes I do that as well often, usually predicting based on the graphs.... even with that it can go either way

Yes range is too tight, no emerging pattern, once a pattern is stopped .... ;-)

I wonder how the other markets are looking, ghosh the spread ranges between CMC and IG Index are so different it seems to me IG Index give the better picture on quotes, CMC are lagging behind
