Best News Feed

What's everyones thought on the best system for News Feeds and research?
I've looked at Bloomberg and will look at Reuters but I was wondering if there was anything cheaper and equally effective on the market.
Something like Bloomberg TV is good for slightly delayed feeds but I also wanted a system that allows me to quickly drill into company stocks, research reports and market opinions in the tap of a keyboard.
I am trading Equity indexes and CFD's at present so looking for data on primarily UK markets. Spread betting firms offer ok free info but I would like to get something more professional and sharper.....but try to avoid excessive costs of course!

Any thoughts/opinions would be most appreciated.

No experience with Bloomberg but I reckon nothing touches Reuters for news and market analysis/reports. But it's expensive.

same question here! I just need something for news data, i trades cfds on level 2 so am happy with that, but need something for news. Looking at Bloomberg but it is so expensive, cheaper alternatives would be great

Dow Jones for £110 pcm

Can be slow on some feeds and the DJ website.

Reuters and Bloomberg are great, prefer Reuters myself. Over £900 pcm

I think almost all of them are not breaking flash headlines in realtime.
More like articles written after the fact.

Some offer DJ content, even tho not breaking news there are some interesting column writers.

I use CMC and they say that their news is realtime and from DJ, but i very much doubt it. becuse then what would be the point in buying the service from DJ when you can have it for free from them.

Dow Jones is OK but I reckon it's second to joint first Reuters/Bloomberg. However, there is still a massive gap between first and second.

If you have/make account for 10 000 Usd on gft you get Dow Jones News wire for free, if you open account for more than 50 000Usd you get Dj news wire and reuters for free.

yes i use gft and get IGM for free. have to pay for dow or reuters
