Anyone has experience of using barclays bank's fx platform and API?It is called barx

I use it a lot and am very happy with it...

I use BARX, and am also extremely happy with it.
I have a live account as well as a demo account where I can experiment.
The customer service is first class.
Can't praise them enough.

Spreads are wide 2 on euro and 4 on cable , no A P I support.

Get better deal on ODL LIKE 1 or 2 pip on cable

What are normal spreads like ?

Agreed - you can get tighter spreads with other providers, but, for me the benefits of great order execution, customer service, and the security of having my funds deposited with (probably) the best capitalised UK bank far outweigh the cost of trades.
All depends what you're looking to achieve.
