Hi,
I have eSignal (and Advanced GET) and I'd like to Backtest and tweak various strategies. Whilst the software comes with a wizard (which doesn't really allow 'thorough' strategies in my experience so far) there is scripting. I have been learning programming scripting but am finding it is taking a bit of work.
1 - n the meantime, what software or systems are available which are friendly and I can test strategies with and tweak them based on the stats I get back?
2 - If there is stuff out there that I can incoporate with eSignal then even better.
(3 - If someone has any further tips on learning the scripting I'm happy to hear about it. I've downloaded the documents and videos on eSignal's site)
