I selected both because I have 3 live accounts and 3 demo accounts. Perhaps you shouldn't have made them optional.
 
I do as shadowninja, but one and one.
With the real account i operate with an EA and i use the demo account to test changes to the EA.
 
I trade with GBP, which as a fiat and unbacked currency, is not real in the purest sense. However, it does let me buy things, so that's ok.
 
I do trade with real money (GBP) but at the moment only trade 0.10/point until I gain some experience; so far this has proved to be a wise decision. Also I always use a guaranteed stop and NEVER move it. I've made a few mistakes (only been trading 2 weeks) so I am a little down which equates to about 4% of my capital. At the moment I'm sitting on my hands until things calm down a bit! Regards,

As real as the U. S. dollar can be, with our budget deficits, unfunded programs, and legislators who can be purchased by the highest bidder.
 
90% of people on here reckon they trade with real money.what b$llocks. Id be amazed if more than about 20% trade live, and less for any lenght of time. I bet if they asked how many are successful the answer would be the same.
 
Demo trading is more game than trading, live trading more trading than gambling.
