More a case of "markets can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent" , than a case of manipulation.
Anyway, define manipulation. If you think certain market participants are "artificially" moving prices or keeping them above a certain level so what? Some players have the size to do this, welcome to the markets chump. Happens right the way through from tiny iliquid AIM stocks all the way up to FX.
