Alternative to GFT Dealbook

I'm currently developing my trading plan and part of the plan includes using fxcm for execution of trades given its position based ordering and ease of use but I'm also using GFT Dealbook 360 for doing my technical analysis owing to the fact that it has reasonable charting capabilites and better customization albeit at the expense of being resource hungry and very buggy.

The problem is this. GFT dealbook is painfully slow and very buggy and at times Its just a pain to use. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a more complete (free or trial based for now) technical charting package that is highly customizable. Ideally i'd like real-time but end of day could prove useful for longer term strategy. Thanks in advance.

Try ProRealTime.com just like GFT Dealbook its free to register with no time limit for EOD, you get 7 days free RealTime and then you pay if you wish.You could also try demo accounts with VT Trader through CMS FOREX or MetaTrader 4 with ALPARI fx if you are looking for realtime FX with different charting capabilities,not sure how long the demo periods last for just comparing for experience.

Thanks for pointing me to ProRealTime. Very nice Java charting there. Tried meta so that just leaves cms. Much appreciated.

fx solutions has a very nice charting package also called FX accucharts. Very diversified charting capabitity. Does almost has much as Tradestation which is top notch in my book.
