Hello,

I know this could/should be in the Forex board but I'm back to the drawing board and this seemed the apt place.

I've tried numerous indicators and systems and books (darvas, vegas, ema's to zigzags) and I have finally realised they are all rubbish.

With Stocks and shares you have Level 2 and with stocks, shares and indicies you have volume.

What do you have for currencies apart from support, resistance and price? Any succesful currency traders here that can eloborate on whats best to start with when trading FX?

I know it might be sound silly or you have done it before: but
Why don’t you start a figure log, and trade currencies over figures like CPI...
Paper trade it in the beginning
You have forecasts, Reuters survey... information from FT

What else do you need?

Have a look at Newtron Bombs thread. He has it all together and is the governor.

PS. It's good to start afresh. Price is in. Indicators are out!
