Hi,

I am an MBA student at the University of Chicago and am about to begin recruiting for options trading/market making positions at firms such as Optiver, DRW, Jane Street, Tibra, and Mako Global.

I would be most appreciative if members of this forum could give me advice as to what to expect from the interview process and how best to prepare.

Books: I have read Natenberg's Options Volatility & Pricing, but would like to know of other relevant books.

Speed Maths: I have signed up with the art of speed arithmatic and am teaching myself Trachtenberg's speed system. Any good IQ/brainteaser books out there? Anywhere where you can practice the speed maths tests?

If anyone has an experience recruiting at such firms (or even has suggestions for firms to apply to) it would be great to hear from you.

Thanks in advance.

The first advice would be to get you language right. Without that, you'll end up flipping burgers.

No, you are not recruting.

He could still be a great burger flipper though...the best even maybe.

You're applying for the job, not recruiting.

Hello There.

Have you had any experience in options trading? As they will probably be interested in someone who at least has tried it themself with their own money at stake?

Good luck and I wish you well in your interview.
