Activating links

Hi,

Having a slight problem with my laptop which, once pointed out I know I'm going to kick myself, but for the life of me cannot think of the solution.

For example, at the top of the page is a link for a broker, to actually click on the link I need to first 'click to activate', then click to open. This is the same for anything similar ie Java charts, any links....

What do I need to change or enable to let me just click once to open these links? I'm not sure if its general internet settings or my virus/adware blockers (AVG and SPYBOT)?

Run a few tests to check where you're configured incorrectly. Might turn up a few other things as well.

The 'click to activate' sounds like the result of the update MS had to roll out as a result of losing a patent lawsuit. I would have thought it wouldn't happen with regular links, though. If that is it, the easiest solution is to run firefox instead of IE.
