"you can rest assured that if you want your 'contributions' to T2W erased, I shall add my name to what will doubtless be a long list of applicants who will be delighted to fulfil your departing wishes."
Hi zupcon,
For the benefit of anyone reading this thread, I am the author of the comments quoted. However, since those comments were made, your contributions to the site have done something of a U-turn and, for the most part, have been very constructive. So, for what it's worth, I am actually saddened and disappointed by your decision. I was of the (mistaken?) opinion that you had - to a greater or lesser degree - reformed your opinion about T2W and its staff. If you genuinely believe that I and those of us on this side of the fence are 'bad' people (my word, not yours) with an agenda to rip off newbies to line our own pockets - then it's probably best that you 'resign'. Needless to say, you are totally and utterly 100% wrong and misguided in your opinion. My personal 'agenda' is the exact polar opposite!
As it happens, I was on the cusp of inviting you to proof read the latest re-vamped Sticky for the First Steps Forum. I believe it's my most valuable contribution to T2W (for better or worse) in the seven years or so that I've been a member of the site. I am extremely keen that it's the best that it can be, aware of the fact that, potentially, it could affect the future trading careers of T2W members. I'm very keen to reflect a broad cross section of beliefs about the market, and not impose my own personal views about it on the membership - which would be quite wrong. Anyway, that offer remains open if you'd care to take me up on it and, if you do, I hope you will reconsider your position and give me - and T2W 'staff' - the opportunity to prove that we really do have the best interests of members at heart. In the event that you decline my offer, I wish you all the best in the future and, based upon your contributions to the site of late about trading, I'm sure it will be a very prosperous one.
All the best Mick,
Tim.
