Hello....

I did not find any section here in this forum talking about mutual funds or funds so I post to this section --- I hope I did not make any mistake.

I found a fund, that is "fairholme" symbol: fairx .

It has been returning every year 19% per year in average since 2000. That's fine. It is much more better than most of the funds.

But I am not an expert how to search or analyze any funds so here goes my questions:

It is really a good fund -- but can it be out of luck as it is not a diversified fund?...

What I mean is that --- As I look at the portfolio composition of the fund, it contais: warren Buffet's Berkshire fund (That's OK).

Other than that a high majority of the portfolio is energy sector. So it makes sense to me it is normal that if it mşght have purchased these sectors and stayed on them for years. So can it be out of luck (that it is possible to have a fund like this out of thousands of funds)....

So in order to see if this fund really does these well, I would like to analyze if the fund until today from the beginning did choose very good selections other than the energy sector. So, can anyone here take a look at all of the fund history, even the old portfolio shares (I do not know where to look) and see if non-e3nergy sectors also did well?....

In addition are there any similar funds that looks promising?....

Thank you,
