I'm pretty much an unsophisticated, conservative to medium risk investor. I only trade online.
Mostly I trade within my 401k brokerage component with Chase. With the market down, I haven't sold any already held mutual funds and use my cash contribution (ab 2k/mo) to buy stocks. Right now, I'm focusing on the good ole, dividend paying stocks in order to create an additional revenue stream during retirement.
I also have a SEP with TDAmeritrade and a another one with REITs that I inherited and reinvest in a taxable account.
I would love to trade MLPs but my non-taxable account would be the only appropriate portfolio, where, of course, I have no cash.
So far, the only info sources I use are Motley Fool and Morningstar. I"m hoping to get a broader trading understanding from this community.
