I have been in the investment business for fifty (50) years. Went to work in Wall Street in 1960. Spent 25 years there. Starting out as Stock Broker. Became a Securities Analyst focusing on analyzing stocks with a bias toward technical analysis, Was the Research Director for a brokerage firm where I published research reports, and a wrote a weekly Technical Analysis Market Report.
In 1975 I started my own investment management business. (All the firms I worked went out of business.) Operated the business until 2000. (All my clients were either dying or retired).
I now manage the firm for my family. I focus on buying high quality large cap stocks at at low market valuations coinsiding with a strong technical structure for the longer term. Usually 2-4 years or more. I have some stocks I have personally owned for a long-long time.
I spend my days trading futures on a swing basis when my technical setups give entry/exit signals.
