Well Traders

It is now over four years since I returned home to Ireland having given up a job I really enjoyed and also leaving behind a good bunch of mates a good social life and a secure way of life to become a full-time trader.

In the last 4 yrs there has been lots of ups and downs, but I have stuck at it.
When I initially came back home I took a year out and researched everything I could fine on trading methods. I opened up my first account over three yrs ago I was trading Indices currencies bonds and commodities and there in lay my first big trading mistake (over trading) even though I had read all about it I was trying to scalp everything. I quickly blew my account a couple of grand. You see I though I had to be trading everyday Mon-Fri if I was going to become a Full-time Trader.

So I stopped trading for a while continued with researching different methods there was lots of these types of methods especially Forex. I bought some good ones and bad ones. In the last two and half yrs I have used some of these methods along with my own ideas and managed to create one very simple trading plan which has been working so well in the last two yrs that have now left the rat race that is the Finance Sector in Dublin as I use to spend over 3 hrs a day comuting up and down. I am working part-time and trading part-time with the view that I hope to be in a position were I will be trading on a Full-time basis in the next 18mts to two years.

I would like to wish all traders the very best in there trading activities, trading can be rewarding if you are prepared to put the effort in. oh and always plan your trades and trade your plan because as Roy Kean once said about the Rep of Ireland set-up Fail to Prepare, Prepare to Fail.
