After 15 years as a web developer, the market proved irresistible so I'm back to full time (modern prop) trading again. Am funded by Alpha Capital Group (2 accounts) and recommend them wholeheartedly. Their trading conditions, support and payout speed are second to none.

My strategy is a mish-mash of what today's kids are into (SMC), so, market structure, liquidity, order blocks etc., underpinned by old school tape reading, with a dash of mean reversion and market profile. I scalp NQ/YM and sometimes scary gold.

Haven't traded as my main job for over three years due to being monumentally bored with it. Actually that's partly a lie, I eventually lost an unwelcome portion of my account as well. Currently having a crack at web development and learning how to break PCs. When my delusions of creativity and trust in an employer to provide a rewarding existence evaporate, I'll probably return to the trading fold. Until then I am accumulating useless but oddly satisfying qualifications, developing web sites for Leeds Uni., breeding computers from spare parts and working a tiny forex account to pay for frivolities. Nevertheless, I have discovered an honest love for coding, which may last, as well as a desire to produce something tangible, well visible at least, instead of thrashing a mouse for a living. It's probably an early mid-life crisis so I'd best get it out of my system before the old brain terminally congeals and career options genuinely start to dwindle. Live life backwards, it's kinda fun.
