Gone for a short on the ES here at 1737.
It's gone over 100 ES points in what seems like no time at all. Might need a breather. Take the lower trendline from the lows and connect it across the last swing high, and it makes a nice, clear channel where we have already touched and came off a little.
Price also showing a potential that it is struggling to hold the current demand line.
It's a bit aggressive, though. Fighting the Fed, here!
Stop at 1747

I'm long Dow @15433.
The hourly chart shows 2 channels the steeper one is the one I'm trading. ( I posted it at 5.15 on another thread http://www.trade2win.com/boards/indices/120172-anyone-scalping-ftse-futures-3686.html#post2208240 )
There was a good bounce off an old support line I'd had at 14428 and there is good after hours support from the Dax and FTSE. (Dax to touch 9000 tomorrow but thats another trade).
Exit - keeping until late Wednesday but above 15540.
Stop 15,390.
Risk / reward approx 0.4
A break above 15460 would lend more confidence as that proved sticky earlier on today.

Were hovering around 15464 / 76 level (that's around 15400 on the futures). I dont want to hold overnight (anything can happen) so I've closed here at 15473 with the expectation of opening this position again tomorrow for more upside. So +40 for today.

So - opened again this morning @398 still expecting 15500
Stop @365 so even if I'm stopped out its a profitable trade.

long DOW at 15400 stop at 15369

maybe it started uptrend on 15 min chart (hh, hl etc.)

move stop to 15376 (if it's in uptrend, it shouldn't go below hl really)

I can post the chart now (didn't have time before). You can see a new trend on 15 min - I'm guessing it may recover and shoot up (unless it drops)

closed 1/2 at 15430 for +30 and stop to 1.5400 b/e

I did this to take some profit at 1/1. Also I don't feel like risking any money for the remaining 1/2, so stop to the same level as entry and it's a round number (for whatever reason it could be some kind of support, although a proper technical level is 15376 - based on hh,hl way of thinking)

Well - it didn't last long. No surprise there - DOW is often jumpy (jumpier than S&P imo).
So out 1/2 at 15400, all together +15

I'll see what happens to this uptrend - it's still there unless it drops below 15376 atm

Not any longer - pa is misbehaving.

I wouldn't touch it for the time being (looks like some kind of expanding pattern - not my favourite)(n)

No more trades for me for the rest of the month.

Heading back overseas and not in front of the PC.

Good luck everyone.

Stop @365 so even if I'm stopped out its a profitable trade.

I've closed this at 15418. It hit that support (now resistance) line of 15,428 and bounced off. I dont think theres anything more on offer tonight and I'm not holding overnight so thats another +20 added to the +40 from yesterday.

Total of +60.

Closed this trade.

Here are the results from week 4:

1. postman (2 votes) = 10 points
2. schofield = 8 points
3. ZEN Archer = 6 points

5. --- no 5th entry ---
