Congrats to all the winners :clap::clap:

However...very weak, IMO. A few notables:

- 'Most Helpful Member" & "Most Valuable Contributer" have exactly same results (contributor spelled wrong on poll), 2 are vendors, 1 admits not spending much time here.

- Ipad winner has been a member since 2001 with ZERO posts here

- One of the "Favorite threads" has only 18 posts for all of 2010

The exception is the "Favorite Journal" cat. Well done!!

The only real thing that I take issue with is the iPad winner. Maybe he'll make 1 post thanking the t2w management for his ipad?
Both vendors are certainly respectable members.

It just seems a bit artificial when vendors win that cat each year.

My apologies if I offended anyone because that wasn't the point of this post. just ranting!

He will at least have to tell them where to send the iPad.

Would it be a good idea if only people who had posted (or made a certain number of posts) were allowed to vote? I can see problems with that, also, but I always worry about people who have been on for so long, and have never made a post. Never seen one that long before! Must be a record.

Stupid question: the names going into the virtual tombola had actually voted had they? It wasn't just a random selection from all members....?

its clear the voting was weak and that the same people had the same people voting for them. One of the winning threads had 18 posts on it. The vendors probably had the newbies voting for them. They probably used their trolls to vote for them. I demand an open vote with an electoral role check and the three winners to be waterboarded
