In light of the flood of charts now highlighting these boards may I suggest a place for those who wish to share their successes and don't quite know where to put them.

I'll kick off with one I did earlier.

nice one rols. but on the spot fx here, I commit or make myself available for too many hours at time? naaa but was able to take the early session trade too.

point for newbies, New york open as can be seen on both these charts trades taken by myself and rols are exposed to NY volatilty on the open more often than not, I was ok at holding as I saw a lid at 1.2830 initially suggested the previous night at 11.00 pm uk time what I see and again i was watching then ,hmm on a 5 second chart a series of very erratic tics bouncing straight up and down 5/10 point quotes for 6/10 bars or so telling me some serious price grinding is attemtping to halt price at these levels, confirmed with the london session.

I also saw the same erratic tics @ 1.2950 a a couple weeks back these as some may of seen ,note were 20/30 points between quotes. again on a 5 second chart.

second trade left a portion on but I was nagged that 2730 didnt collapse enough for my liking so I didnt want the risk open so took the remainder, (if in doubt, trust to act on those internal nagging truths ,that second.) it did rally some but a lack of confidence @ 40/45 levels suggests it aint going north.

As for my eyes? grasshopper springs to mind, but I'll be cooking curry and drinking beer this evening , err which it is already .........ooops

cheers

Fx.

oh both were "Brainers" make sure you bring those along....

Nice clean chart! RU trying to tell me something?

I couldn't trade without all my PRETTY COLOURS(imagine subnormal voice)

well I use 2 screens and that chart above is the dealing chart, so prints the arrows as you deal, but its clear and you can get a very simple sense of perspective without clutter so depending if trading directional or going on a duck shoot i'll have a 5 sec, 5, 15,1hr and 3 hr, drawing the eye.

Ive got Spag bol on the other screen :) not quite but a couple of programmed indicators on.

I've got ichimuko on there in blue - unusual but effective if used in conjunction with Donchian channels and LR 104 - but i wouldn't want to mislead anyone - there's still a lot of stuff that cannot be defined!

Which software program is it BTW?

Wonder of colour

See, I saw it all differently myself and if not for the TCDs and AFP, ACDC and WTF's would never have caught it....

Thank god for trends and breakouts and many squiggly lines.

Oanda and VT I use, hmmm what is LR 104? also I note on the futures plenty of gaps seems like they pause and jump to the spot price? I mean even on a thin asian session I rarely see gaps on the spot price, I know spot volume is huge compared to futures but would of thought greater continuity of price from the futures .

If you subscribe to my room, I'll tell you what your green line is :cheesy:
It doesn't really matter what the line is because when I was babysitting my niece last week we discussed position sizing, risk management and multi timeframes so we made plenty of £££.
;)

Shh don't tell everybody!
I read EUR e-mini is 7% of the Spot volume
LR is Linear Regression and Ichimuko is the new Gann Fann...

Forgive me for digressing but did you get teased at school for having pointy ears?

:) pointy ears ? naa more famed for the Vulcan Death Grip..... or the other thing called a mossy, which consisted of running up to your mates whilst they are un aware and thrusting elbow into their backs whilst shouting oooooooh MOSSY!..... silly sods. and it bloody used to hurt.

cheers for the clrear up re LR .

Interesting to see what the Euro does next week, regarding those Bouncing tics @ levels 1.2950 and 1.2830 zones. on the 5 secs, now i watch a lot of the time but if you aint watching then you wont see it ,will 1.2700 giveway hmmm. seeing those tics bounce i'd perhaps favour yes. but just as a curiosity.

thing is i havent seen them from the support side yet.... unless of course Ive missed it on the 5 sec charts and you will do if you go off or divert for a few mins.

Now thats a chart, makes mine like dull. I think I need more!

(Off back to the drawing board)

Have you a name for the dot thing?

I've seen this before I think you can program it in some charting packages. There was a site where a guy was trading purely on the colour of the dots but I can't remember where I'm afraid.

After looking at your chart Rols I had to do a search and discover more on this ichi stuff. Turns out I've been missing out all along and now have me itchi firmly placed on my chart. I'll always be profitable now.

News Trader

I propose some valiant charts of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory should be posted. Learning from mistakes etc.

Below is one I did earlier (I have erased the date from my memory) and no it wasn't a SHORT. This is from my out takes folder. I managed to get out on the bounce...
