Hello everybody I am pretty new to this forum although I have been a member for close to a year I just havent really spent much time on the forum... anyways.
I have been trading and continuing to research for over a year now and although I some nice trades here and there I seem to just be spinning my wheels. When I say "had some nice trades" I mean like had some success for a couple days or weeks but never consistently months on end. Overall I have lost money; therefore thats when I went ahead and became a member of a website called Specialist Trading by the guy of a named Steven Primo(any advice of feed back from this guy is greatly appreciated) and he is a great help he provides me with everything I need to trade but now I just wonder if this business is even for me anymore. I initially started when I graduated from High School last year and for a graduation present my parents had given me $10,000 to try it out. The more research I do now it just seems that it is so much more complicated than just what I figured it was. I initially wanted to come in to trade so that I can make 10, 15, or 20 dollars a day but I realized in trading nothing is guarenteed. Then when I consider having to pay taxes on my gains and such I start to wonder if this is for me. I am a college student and I need to maintain my grades and therefore cannot put as much time into this as to sitting in front of the computer all day although I realize that it has been over a year and I am still doing research and I think I want to do this but I am just not sure. I have not given up completely. Can anybody please give me some adivice on my issue?
P.S. I also realized that due to my college schedule that I would need to be more of a swing trader because I do not have the time day trade.
