I would like to trade using Ninjatrader as my trading platform. You either buy a license fee for Ninjatrader or pay a yearly leasing fee that you pay monthly. What's the best futures broker that I can use this with, I heard that Ninjatrader has no monthly fees with some brokers, is this true? I think that is if you meet the monthly volume of contracts.
Velocity Futures and Global Futures offer Ninja Trader, its either free or about $50 a month, cant really remember.

I use these folks and can recommend them enthusiastically: Infinity Futures. Talk to Markus Zielbauer although, I should warn you, I very much doubt that he'll let you trade the ES with a mere $500. I have a 5 figure account and am restricted to 2 contracts!

I had already looked into those brokers and they charge to use ninjatrader. I know if you go direct to the ninjatrader website they say their platform is free for simulation forever. But for real live trades you need to purchase one off license key or lease yearly. I think having to have to pay monthly to use it through a broker is really silly. When I could just lease it from ninjatrader direct and then in year 2 just purchase it. This way when starting out I don't incur too many costs starting up. The costs the brokers are suggesting month by month is more expensive than leasing it from ninjatrader. I have noticed some brokers have offered ninjatrader with lower monthly costs but then raise commission levels way higher than normal and also you need to make massive amounts of trades per month.

That's unfortunate about infinity not allowing you to trade with $500. I am only looking to start off with buying 1 contract and making about 30 trades a day and then increasing that to 200 trades a day as I get better. Of course before I get into this I am trying to become good enough in a simulator.

Obviously, I know nothing about your trading but, statistically, I would have thought that the probability of you having 5 or more losing trades in a row is quite high - sooner or later. With a 5 tick stop, that's a potential drawdown of $312.50. Let's also assume your commissions are in the region of say $4.00 per round trip. At 30 trades per day, you're gonna be paying $120.00. Put it this way, you're going to have to make at least 9 ticks profit every day just to break even! I don't wish to be negative but, to be honest, unless you're a really exceptional trader - or extremely lucky - I can't see your account lasting more than a week, tops. I suggest you wait until you can fund an account with a bare minimum of $2,000 and preferably a lot more. Also, rather than trading the ES, start on the YM as it's only $5.00 per tick instead of $12.50 on the ES.

I found Mirus Futures to be the best because they only require $2500 to fund your account, which gave me plenty of money left over to purchase the lifetime ninjatrader license, mentoring and indicators.

About the Ninjatrader license, I am really confused. Some trading websites talk of how ninjatrader is completely free both for simulation and live trading. But then on the ninjatrader main website they also say it's completely free. But then have this other option to purchase the license as a one off fee for free lifetime use, it costs $995 for single broker and for multi broker it's $1,500. Or you can lease the software for like $300 a year.
Then the next confusing thing is, I find some futures brokers charging $60 per month for ninjatrader. I don't get it, does that mean I have to purchase or lease ninjatrader direct from ninjatrader.com and then on top of that pay $60 per month from the futures broker?
Please can you explain this to me?

Iam with a Uk based broker and they offer ninja trader absolutely free with zenfire feed

if you look at velocity or global they dont offer the Zenfire feed for which ninja trader is made for so ninja dosent run at optimum speed with them , + they charge a transaction charge per side fairvalue do not they are all inclusive on ninjatrader Zenfire.

http://www.fairvaluefutures.com/ offers Ninja trader for free like the above email suggests .......with basic functionality. if you want all the bells and whistles then its $60 per month or you can buy the product, the commission rate fairvalue charge for use with ninjatrader is allinclusive for the platform and fees
They are prob one of cheapest out there, I dont trade emini´s myself but they are the cheapest on all European stuff and I do beleive they are as cheap if not cheaper on the emini´s, all their prices are available on their site , you just have to add on the exchange fee to work out your all in RT price
