Traders - Warning !

Dear traders:
This post is not about trading, it's about us - traders.
...and... It's some kind of warning and "watch out".

So let the (short) story begin:
I was some kind of "vip" in ForexFactory website. They have some kind of "ranking" system and they "nominated" me as one of their top 1%
"High Impact Member" - based on number of "subscribers" to my post, "budies", quality information, etc.
My forums and my posts got dozens of visitors each day.

All of a sudden, my "membership" revoked, my posts and forums, which was highly popular, went into the "recycle bin"...
At first I thought it's some kind of mistake. EMails to Admin, customer support, etc. remain un-unswered.
No warnings, no reasoning, no response - nada...

I can assure you that there was no foul language, insults or any kind of mis-behaviour in any of my posts.
I can also assure you that there was no scam, commercial content, sales pitch, or any kind of money or financial suggestions in any of my posts.

A few days after that - a whole lot of good, honest, helpfull, contributing members got "revoked" membership and their forums/posts went

also into the FF "recycle bin". Most of those forums are full of good ideas, new and innovative indicators and promising trading systems.

Then I strated to do some "digging"...
I'm not going to reveal everything that I found about FF (BTW: we now call them "****ersFactory"...), but the following will give you some idea:
They are hiding their true identity under:
Registrant Name: PERFECT PRIVACY, LLC
That is some kind of "legal" identity with a purpose of hiding the true identity of the owner/s.

If I knew that before registering to their site - I wouldn't register at all.

I have a pretty good idea why they doing it, but for me that doesn't matter anymore.
Just beware and exercise caution with FF.

ahhh... they have a good calendar...

You are right GG. I know not only you got this experience. Some of my other good friends too, like: eurusdd, saver0, piratepips, kiads, baillie, etc ... etc... so many of good traders. We all know because of we were active at some good threads there (including yours Fractal, ZZ, pissing dog), so FF kicked us without any reason. All of good threads are sent to recycle bin ... and good traders like you and other friends are blocked, we can see "membership revoked" there ... I am sure there is something bad force behind this. FF is not objective anymore, they are not pro traders, but brokers ... (n)n:

is often the case a forum will give members the heave-ho when skullduggery is afoot

some scam or other was no doubt behind ff's actions. add to the fact that the action taken appears to be months ago? yet we are only now being informed @ t2w :confused:

what agenda comes next? privileged information leaked as to where the new web place the banned ff members now reside?

If anybody was aware what happened at FF, it was really bizarre. You are more than welcome to go through my profile at FF forexfactory.com/saver0 and find a single thread that violated anything.

There were bunch of users working on this new TZ/RZ concept and we were tackling forex with probabilities and math yielding very high probability trades and good results. Soon after, all of our accounts were terminated. I'm thinking that all of these forums are funded by brokers so they don't want us to win, its as simple as that. What they want is a bunch of gambling addicts who thinks that they can win and they want useless threads that show the illusion of the possibilities of winning big in FX that cannot be easily replicated. Math can be replicated. Math and probability are the tools that they use against us so when people become aware how easy it is to come up with sound mathematical models that yield high probability results and expose the underlying principles of the market, they get scared and terminate us.

Anyways, we wanted to come out and let the world know what's going on. We already found ourselves a new home where we are making progress by collaborating together instead of being scared to share publicly thinking that we would lose our edge.

ForexFactory and a lot of these sites aren't looking out for your best interest, they are there for the brokers. Do you guys know just how much they get paid for each signup? Look at the rates that brokers pay through their affiliate programs and you will be shocked. How can they afford to spend so much for a single sign up and also give deposit bonuses? It's because they are casinos! When you win, it's like breaking the casino... makes you think right?

Agree with all the above. Just an add: the moderators/admin there are so selfish to believe being investigator, lawyer and jury all in once..of course this thing (just by itself DANGEROUS) , added to the fact they own the forum lead into a dictatorship where who is not "aligned" is epurated.

BTW, the penguin forum was down for a while today...just normal technical/connection issues or....?:whistling

Well, i speak for myself, but many others in my SAME situation: no motivation at all...we all banned have theories (that mostly involve the supposed REAL ownership of FF....), but me for example never received a warning, a temporary suspension, a PM by mods...nothing,before the membership revoked.
Also they NEVER replied to my MULTIPLE requests of clarifications sent via their support contact form.
Is this the way some fair professionals managment acts?
IMHO, if you act this way, you are either or a 5 year child, or a crook. Period. Maybe i am wrong, who knows.. (n)
 
Why ever would a forum chuck people out. They are usually desperate to attract more.
I better check to see if I am on the black list too.

Well whatever the crime was I don't seem to be accused of it - still a member. Not that I do much on that forum.

No reasons were given! That's what we are all pissed off at. No explanations.. one day happily contributing and then the next, membership revoked!

It's a site made by me and I am the only moderator/admin/developer. I created it a while ago before any of this happened just so I can work with a couple more people on a fractal prediction indicator (a working idea of gg's) privately. It's not a heavily moderated site since I simply don't have the time so I would like to keep the user base small :)

it is clear from your website that the private forum for "tz" whatever that means, something zone no doubt, was created

so today, the day after Christmas, there are several banned members of forexfactory all creating accounts at the same time on t2w.

why not all join babypips as well while you're at it and name drop your forum there too.... oh wait, you did :whistling

1- the PZ thread was not created today at all
2- if you would have used a minute to check our FF terminated users thread (evidently you have not..), you would have understood why people are flocking here since today..just cause we decided today, instead of JUST rumbling among us like old ugly bitc**s, to make the forex forum world (and over) aware of the practice of the infamous FF.
This,for avoiding others to be burnt like us and who knows..maybe to get a bit of the theft justice we deserve.

Unfortunately i see that also here it seems, some senior members think to know everything and to be able to judge everyone at the first 1-2 posts. Maybe i am wrong....oh wait, you did.. :whistle:rolleyes:
